The most important choice we’ll ever make in our lives is choosing ourselves. To love ourselves enough to dedicate time and energy toward healing, growing and transforming. This affects all areas of our lives and all of those within it.

Hi, I’m Shanna and I am grateful you are here. My approach to therapy trusts in your innate ability to heal. I recognize your pain and suffering, and my hope is that together we can lean into your resilience, build your capacity and help you to realize the resources for healing that already lie within you. Helping you ultimately, to rediscover your most authentic self. As a Collective Current therapist my focus is helping you to heal your nervous system and returning you back home to you. I work from a holistic understanding and utilize a variety of mind-body healing and trauma resolution approaches to help you reach your goals, release blockages, shift barriers and bring you back into the safety of the present moment.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. I am trained in Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting and Reiki Certified. I have a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and completed my internship with Salvation Army, where I worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with clients who experienced severe trauma, abuse, addiction, neglect, grief, anxiety, depression among other mental, emotional and physical issues. It is my mission to continue becoming trained in the most powerful healing modalities so that I can best support you.
